How to change category on YouTube [ Updated ]

YouTube is officially part of one of the biggest social media platforms in the world. It has come a long way since its creation. People are uploading millions of videos on YouTube in a single day. They come to YouTube in search of fame and limelight. But to do so they must first know how YouTube works and how they can gain an audience that will in the future convert their watch time into real money. That being said many people today do not know how to change categories on YouTube. That’s why I will tell you how to change category on YouTube.

Here is how to change category on YouTube-

Go to your YouTube channel on the top right corner and click “YouTube studio”
Click “setting” on the left side of your screen and click “upload defaults” and then click “advance setting”
You will find a category option clicking on that you’ll see all the category
Click your desired category and click “save”
If you want to change your already uploaded video’s category then click on “video” on the left side of your screen, select your video, and click “edit”
You will see a category option there
select all if you want all of the categories of your video to be changed
